Defiance of Tyranny

In response to the Democratic Presidential debate I figured it's time to flush some of the garbage that the various candidates said about President Bush. First of all the economy:

The Clinton recession started in June of 2000 prior to any of the Presidents economic policies. The terrorist attacks of 9/11 further deepened the Clinton recession. These are facts and can be confirmed. So...any attack made against President Bush regarding the "economy" or "jobs" is really a straw man. In other words, if the Democrats are upset about the economy it is a rebuke of President Clinton's tax-hikes that led us into the recession which started June of 2000. President Bush strong strategic response to terror has made our country confident again. The economy has shrugged off the Clinton recession and is growing again. President Bush believes that the Federal Government should return as much money as possible to the people who pay the bills. Tax relief has been implemented to help each and every working American. In fact, President Bush's tax relief has been directed primarily at the lowest income families.

Between the military action in Afghanistan and Operation Iraqi Freedom some 50+ million people have been liberated from the yoke of tyranny and brutal repression. Apparently Democrats like Howard Dean would prefer these people in shackles and living with the threat of kidnapping, beatings, torture, rape and murder. In addition, the President has acted on the best intelligence and shut down terrorist training camps in both nations. By taking the fight to the radical fundamentalist Islamic terrorists where they live, the President has kept the country and the world safer. Terrorism is a political act with a political objective, not a military action with a military objective. Therefore, the President has made it impossible for terrorists to act without putting the regimes that support terror like Saddam Hussein and the Taliban at risk.

The President led our nation out of one of it's darkest days with positive and optimistic leadership that comforted troubled many Americans. His swift action and firm resolve are in stark contrast to the wishy-washy suggestions of the Democratic Presidential candidates who can't even agree that Operation Iraqi Freedom was a great victory in the War on Terror, much less answer the question about spending $87 billion to ensure our work pays off. Generic platitudes about "supporting the troops" are all the Gepharts and Liebermans can muster, while vicious Anti-American rhetoric comes from Howard Dean and Dennis Kucinich. It is sad that the Democratic Party has become a refuge for closet-Socialists and career politicians.
