THE WEAKNESS OF SPAIN

I was saddened and angered by the election in Spain following the terrorist attacks there. It sends precisely the wrong message to terrorists like al-Qaida. It is a huge mistake to allow terrorist attacks to weaken your foreign policy towards terror. What else will you let the terrorists decide, people of Spain? Will you let al-Qaida write your laws? Censor your films? Choose your faith?

It is truly sickening to see a people like the Spaniards with their tremendous and proud history, cowering before the spectacle of cowardly terrorist attacks.

Instead of putting your tails between your collective legs you should have stood up to al-Qaida and devoted your national security efforts towards making your people SAFER.

SHAME on you, Spain!
