President Bush and the truth about 9/11: What you won't hear in the media
President Bush has led our country through one of it's darkest hours. The President took office shortly after a recession, a result of Clintonomics, began. Only the Contract with America and the bold leadership of Republican members of the House and Senate prevented the Clinton recession (which began in June 2000) from being worse than it was. As it stands, the Clinton recession was an absolute disaster, especially in light of the accounting scandals of companies like Enron and the attacks of 9/11.
The so-called boom of the 1990's was really the tail end of a huge economic stimulus put in motion by the supply side policies of Ronald Reagan who, like President Bush, took over for an indecisive and distracted democratic presidential failure. Stagflation of the Carter years was a time of disturbing weakness and great danger in America's post WWII history.
Like President Reagan, and President Kennedy long before him, President Bush realized that the way to awake the slumbering giant of America industry was to unshackle the creativity and innovation of America's entrepreneurs and businessmen. Tax cuts led to consecutive quarters of growth and low interest rates contributed to tremendous levels of home ownership. Jobs are coming back due in large part to President Bush's tax cuts.
If President Bush's leadership on the home front has been exemplary, his leadership abroad has been extraordinary. In response to the worst attack on our own soil, President Bush has waged two successful campaigns against terrorists and the state sponsors of terrorism. By striking a blow against an enemy of freedom in the heart of a region beset by violence and tyranny, President Bush has made bold strides in the fight of the civilized world against terrorism. Now, after the regime change of one of the worst totalitarian dictators in history, the world community is looking at the Middle-East as a potential member of the world family rather than a third-world nightmare to be ignored or barely tolerated.
Our debt as a nation to the strong decisive leadership of President Bush in this dark time for America is one that will not be forgotten. Long after the finger pointing and squabbling and political posturing is over, Americans will remember President Bush among the great leaders of our nation. Washington, Lincoln, Roosevelt, Reagan and George W. Bush
will rank among the most positive influential figures in history.

Unborn victims of violence act: How could someone in clear conscience oppose this bill?
Dozens of Senators of our great nation opposed this bill. This should shock, appall and sadden any American who understands the importance of defending ALL of our human brethren regardless of their developmental state.
The fact is, aside from forcible rape (which is already illegal), women have total control over their "reproductive rights" what they DON'T and SHOULD NOT have control over is the life of a lesser developed human simply because it is defenseless and cannot speak on it's own behalf. This would be tantamount to slavery and if the lesser developed human is killed it's nothing less than cold-blooded murder.
So-called "reproductive rights" end are trumped when a new life begins. This happens at conception when the male and female cells form a zygote.
Instead of reproductive rights, Abortion advocates should really just admit they are fighting for non-accountability.
Actions have consequences people! Abortion advocates talk about "choice" but ignore the fact that both the man and the woman exercised choice to engage in sexual behavior. Once you choose to set something in motion you cannot UN-choose it. If I jump off a cliff my actions have consequences I will fall due to the law of gravity. This is science. I cannot CHOOSE not to hit the ground. Similarly, if I choose to engage in sexual behavior I must also accept the scientific fact that there is a consequence for my action.
Actions have consequences.

Separation of Church and State: Why "Under God" has nothing to do with it.
First of all, the recognition of a higher power is not a "religion". Religion is defined as a system of faith or worship. The mere acknowledgement of a creator, however disturbing this may be to the atheists among us, is not a religious statement. I can recognize the fact that crime exists without being criminal. Besides the atheist or agnostic is not being forced to admit to the presence of a deity (or deities) of any specific religion. The pledge merely recognizes that the founders of our great republic believed in God and based our system of laws on Judeo-Christian and Western (in the Greek sense of the word) principles.
It's truly disingenuous of the godless socialists, who themselves are proponents of the secular "religion" of socialism, won't come clean and admit their true goals. But then, when have they?
