The UN Oil-for-Food program scandal continues to grow as the corruption at the U.N. seemingly is exposed to the light of day. The problem? The major media won't touch it.

The U.N. is the "one-world-socialist's" dream organization and the left refuses to scrutinize it's actions and lack of oversight the same way they rabidly attacked the corporate scandals of the past few years.

KERRY CLAIMS HE'S "NEVER, EVER" USED WORD "LYING" IN REFERENCE TO PRESIDENT BUSH ON IRAQ. JIM LEHRER: "New question, Senator Kerry. Two minutes. You've repeatedly accused President Bush, not here tonight but elsewhere before, of not telling the truth about Iraq. Essentially, of lying to the American people about Iraq. Give us some examples of what you consider to be his not telling the truth." SEN. KERRY: "Well, I've never, ever used the harshest word as you just did." (Sen. BUT IN DECEMBER 2003, KERRY TOLD NEW HAMPSHIRE EDITORIAL BOARD BUSH "LIED" ABOUT REASON FOR GOING TO WAR IN IRAQ. "Kerry also told a New Hampshire newspaper editorial board Friday that Bush had 'lied' about his reasons for going to war in Iraq, a word Kerry has been reluctant to use publicly for months. AND IN SEPTEMBER 2003, KERRY SAID BUSH ADMINISTRATION "LIED" AND "MISLED." "This administration has lied to us. They have misled us. And they have broken their promises to us. The president promised to the people and the Congress that he would build an international coalition, respect the United Nations' process and only go to war as a last resort. I will tell you that from my war fighting experience, I believe there is a test for a president as to how you go to war. And that test is whether or not you can look in the eyes of parents and say to them, 'I did everything possible to avoid the loss of your son and daughter, but we had no other choice in order to protect the security of our nation,' and I know this president fails that test in Iraq." The LIES of John Kerry

John Kerry’s latest attack ad says that President Bush’s assertion that al-Qaida and Saddam Hussein had ties is “not true”. The facts prove otherwise. Iraq’s ties to al-Qaida and various Islamic terror groups are myriad. In 1985, the mastermind behind the hijacking of the Achille Lauro cruise ship, Abu Abbas, was harbored and welcomed by the Iraqi regime. In 1988, more than 5,000 Kurdish men women and children were massacred in the village of Halabja by Saddam Hussein in a vicious terror attack using weapons of mass destruction. Iraqi intelligence documents dated from 1992 list Osama Bin Laden as an Iraqi intelligence asset. In 1993 a non-aggression pact between Iraq and al-Qaida was formed. The secular and Islamic extremist rift is shrinking. The Deputy Director of Iraqi intelligence confirms that Osama Bin Laden requested arms and training from Saddam Hussein’s Iraqi regime. In 1995, Iraqi intelligence officials met with Abu Hajer al Iraqi, a member of al-Qaida. In 1996, a phone call between al-Qaida-supported Sudanese military officials and the head of Iraq’s chemical weapons program was intercepted by the NSA. Abu Abdallah al Iraqi, a member of al-Qaida, went to Iraq in 1997 to help in obtaining weapons of mass destruction. In 1998, the Clinton administration’s justice department indicted Iraq for providing “assistance” to al-Qaida’s weapons development program. A senior Clinton administration counter terrorism official said that the U.S. government was “sure” Iraq had supported al-Qaida chemical weapons programs in 1999. In 2000, September 11th hijacker Khalid al Mihdhar was photographed with an Iraqi intelligence agent in Kuala Lumpur en route to a meeting at which the terrorist attacks of the USS Cole and the World Trade Center were planned and discussed. Satellite images show al-Qaida members traveling to a compound in Iraq in 2000, a compound financed in part, by the Iraqi regime. September 11th, 2001: The World Trade Centers in the heart of New York City become ground zero for the worst terror attacks in American history. Attacks were carried out by members of al-Qaida. In 2002, senior al-Qaida member, Abu Musab al Zarqawi, operated openly in Baghdad and received medical attention with the knowledge and approval of Saddam Hussein’s regime in Iraq. Currently, Zarqawi’s latest hobby is to kidnap and behead foreigners in postwar Iraq. This, the most stunningly obvious connection between Iraq and al-Qaida is conveniently overlooked by the media. Prior to the war in Iraq, it was suspected that Saddam Hussein’s regime in Iraq harbored and supported Abdul Rahman Yasin, the Iraqi weapons expert who mixed the chemicals for the 1993 World Trade Center attack. This was confirmed in documents found in postwar Iraq in 2003.

These are but a few, unclassified instances of ties between Iraq and al-Qaida. It’s little more than a semantics argument to claim that Iraq could be connected to al-Qaida yet have nothing to do with the attacks of 9/11. Actions have consequences and we all know if the nations that were and are state sponsors of terror did their part to prosecute and arrest known terrorists instead of aid them, events like 9/11 would be impossible to carry out.

Until recently, it was not a partisan matter that Iraq and al-Qaida had connections, President Clinton was among the most vocal critics of Saddam Hussein’s regime saying in 1998 that , “outlaw nations and an unholy axis of terrorists, drug traffickers, and organized international criminals” would be “more lethal if we allow them to build arsenals of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons and the missiles to deliver them.” He went on to say that “there is no more clear example of this threat than Saddam Hussein’s Iraq.” President Clinton also reiterated the Iraqi regime’s role in the botched attempt to assassinate President Bush while he was visiting Kuwait.


The most egregious flip-flop was that of counter terrorism official Richard Clarke. Yes, this is the same man who said that the U.S. government was “sure” Iraq had supported al-Qaida chemical weapons programs in 1999, later said, in 2004, “There’s absolutely no evidence that Iraq was supporting al-Qaida, ever.” This bold-faced lie is all the more stunning considering that Mr. Clarke isn’t refuting the veracity of the intelligence he is denying it’s very existence!
Al Gore: During the 1992 Presidential campaign, Gore attacked the first Bush administration for disregarding Saddam Hussein‘s “brutal terrorism” and of ignoring Saddam’s “murderous ambitions”. Gore went on to make over a dozen specific references to Iraq-sponsored terrorism while citing a RAND corporation study that concluded that “an estimated 1,400 terrorists were operating openly out of Iraq.”
Again, in 1992, Gore said that Saddam Hussein was a “major danger to the region and to U.S. interests.” and that he was “seeking technologies for weapons of mass destruction” in addition to offering “state payments to terrorists.”
Now, comically, Gore rails against the Bush administration saying that “The evidence now shows clearly that Saddam did not want to work with Osama Bin Laden at all, much less give him weapons of mass destruction.”
A notorious Democrat flip-flopper, Wesley Clark said “Certainly there’s a connection between Iraq and al-Qaida.” in 2002. Then, as a candidate for President, Clark stated, “there is no connection on that.”

Great Economic News for President Bush!

All 50 States Post Personal Income Growth

(Reuters) - U.S. personal incomes rose 1.5 percent in the second quarter of 2004, the fastest pace of growth in more than three years, as income gains sped up in 33 states, the Commerce Department said on Tuesday.


All 50 U.S. states reported increases in personal income, and real earnings for all eight U.S. regions climbed above the level set in the first quarter of 2001, the previous peak in the national business cycle, the government reported.
The Rocky Mountain and Far West regions posted the strongest personal income growth. Washington led the nation with a 2.4 percent increase in personal income, followed by Montana and Nevada, up 1.9 percent from the previous quarter.
"We do see an improving picture here," said Mark Vitner, an economist at Wachovia Securities. "I think the recovery has strengthened and broadened."

For some states, second-quarter gains were driven by increased earnings in the real estate and leasing industry. Arkansas and North Dakota posted a jump in earnings due to growth in the farm sector.
Nationally, all three components of personal income -- net earnings, property earnings and transfer receipts -- grew.
Net earnings, or income from work, increased 1.6 percent. Strong income growth rates for proprietors helped offset weaker gains in the wage and salary portion of earnings. Proprietors in Michigan posted the fastest earnings growth among states, hitting 4.7 percent in the quarter.
Transfer receipts, or payments received when no work or services are performed, also rose, thanks to growth in Medicare and Medicaid payments.
Income from interest, dividends and rent, known as property income, was the weakest contributor to total personal income. It rose 1.0 percent in the second quarter, the report said.
Nearly all industries reported higher earnings.

Republicans and people concerned about national security: Register to VOTE! Tell you friends to register to vote and VOTE!

It's vital that the right-minded people in this country not get complacent and count on a great economy and success in Iraq and Afghanistan to return President Bush to the White House.

The Democrats have been playing possum folks. Misleading poll data and John Kerry's apparent incompetence in this campaign has been a smokescreen to hide some election year skulduggery. The Democrats are trying to BUY this election.

With massive coffers in the hands of unaccountable 527 organizations, the Democrat Party is mobilized. If they can steal the election they will. Republicans and people concerned about national security, WINNING the War on Terror and keeping our economy growing need to counter their activities with vocal, financial and public support of the president as well as efforts to register voters who share the same concerns.

"Unfit for Command"

It's worth noting that Kerry first said he resigned from the VVAW prior to the "assassination" meeting taking place, then after FBI survelliance records reveal that he WAS at the meeting he said that differences between the group and himself caused him to break his ties to the group. In fact, Kerry only resigned from the executive committee and continuedto speak for the VVAW and his "resignation" would only take effect only after a replacement for him had been selected.

Kerry and phony Al Hubbard, who claimed to be "decorated Air Force captain"who sustained a "shrapnel injury" and was really a flight engineer who never saw combat in Vietnam and who had been injured in a basketball game, led Vietnam Veterans Against the War or VVAW.

Kerry continued to support Hubbard even when he was exposed as a fraud and a total insult to true injured veterans.

Kerry went to Paris and met with enemy in the persons of Lo Duc Tho and Madame Nguyen Thi Binh.

Betraying his country, Kerry was in violation of several legal provisions. Negotiating with foreign powers (18 U.S.C. section 953) and constitutional prohibition against giving support to our nation's enemies in a time of war (ArticleIII, Section 3)

You see, part of this is John Kerry's heinous actions and part of this is how the Communist world seized on the "antiwar" protest movement and manipulated it into an avowedly anti-American force.

Kerry praised Ho Chi Minh in speeches comparing him to George Washington.

The Daily World, a communist newspaper ran front page photos of their darling, John Kerry and used him as a handy prop to serve their agenda.

VVAW became more and more radical, and eventually their plotting and protest led to a plot by Scott Camil to assassinate various United States Senators Kerry attended a meeting where this plot was voted on.

Why John Kerry did not report the proposed plot to authorities to avoid becoming complicit in a conspiracy to commit murder is not known.
