The left wing feeding frenzy has reached a fever pitch and as usual the average American is a bit too smart to buy in.
We have seen these types of incessant attacks on the White House by the extremists of the far-left in the Democrat Party and their eager and willing lap-dogs in the media before. In the 1980's when a (briefly) Republican-led congress teamed with Ronald Reagan to create a 18-year period of hyper economic growth and simultaneously melted a Cold War enemy with the sheer heat of our military industrial complex and unstoppable resolve. The left wing tried to paint Reagan as an ineffectual dreamer, a naive and unrealistic old man, they tried to write him off as a corrupt and uncompromising war-monger. When all else failed they tried to remind everyone that he was a former actor. History has made the critics look like fools and accurately portrayed Reagan as one of our greatest and most important presidents.
Does any of this sound familiar?
The attacks on the Bush White House will continue. If anything, they will increase. It's time for Republicans to start fighting back like they want to serve America instead of constantly being on the defensive. The anti-Bushites tactics are clever, with a relentless onslaught they seek to create the appearance of impropriety and incompetence at every turn. They then compound one issue using the last as a foundation.
If you stop and debate them on any single issue, they will quickly shift to another unrelated issue. Address that issue and the shifting will continue until eventual they will use the first debunked issue as proof for their position.
For example, the war in Iraq and the toppling of Saddam Hussein undoubtedly removed a dangerous dictator who was a state sponsor of terrorism and was a threat in terms of weapons of mass destruction (it has been established that Iraq had dozens of clandestine W.M.D. programs) Yet, the far left consistently seeks to undermine not only the positive results of the war in Iraq but the valid reasons for the war in the first place. Even at the cost of demoralizing the troops in Iraq, these leftists would love nothing more than to create the impression that the war in Iraq did not have any positive consequences and, in fact, hurt the United States and the overall "war on terror". When faced with the facts, the left points to faulty intelligence and laments the fact that "stockpiles" of W.M.D. were not found. Who ever said anything about stockpiles? By the time one of our enemies has "stockpiles" NYC would be a smoldering ruin and Washington D.C. a radioactive wasteland.
Another example, Hurricane Katrina. The left rends their garments and gnashes their teeth that the White House "failed" in it's response to this disaster. It's purely political. They know as well as you or I that the federal government was mobilized prior to the landfall of the storm. They know that Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Teddy Roosevelt and Bill Clinton wrapped in Old Glory could have done nothing to minimize the damage of a Class 5 hurricane on a city eight feet below sea level. Exploiting the deaths and suffering of the people of New Orleans is certainly a lowly and pitiful thing. Doing so for political gain is even more disgusting. In some ways, the left is probably thankful for such a disaster to give them some political momentum and leverage after years of aimless foundering.

Muslims assault U.S. Embassy in Indonesia
The members of this so-called religion of "peace" keep showing their true colors.
Muslim fanatics and their puppeteers, the Islamo-fascist dictators keep fomenting hate and intolerance. Are we to wait until another unholy axis of evil forms in the Middle-East and Indonesia before we do something about this?
