A new "study" by the University of California Berkeley states that babies that are whiny grow up to be conservatives, while "resilient" babies grow up to liberal. If anyone knows liberals and conservatives in their daily lives they may find this amusing because once they reach the adult level of self-awareness it is the exact opposite. The study is very unscientific and it's conclusions seem to be based on a statistically questionable figures.


Personality is only one element that goes into someone's political make-up and liberals are, as usual, determined to ignore free will in the equation. This is because to a true liberal, Man is merely the paragon of animals. To a liberal, Man is a complex reflection of genetics and environment.

To a conservative, Man is a unique child of God. He is distinct from animals in that he has an advanced intellect capable of self-awareness and dealing with abstract concepts and he has free will.

Even looking at this "study" at face value seems like a compliment to conservatives. These "whiny" children are trying to alter and or improve their plight with the only means at their disposal: whining, fussing, complaining.

This would suggest that the brighter and more ambitious "conservative" children whine while the less intelligent "liberal" children passively submit to problematic conditions.
