Top reasons Collge Football is better than Pro Football


1. Super Bowl: The game always sucks! If the two best teams in the league happen to be in the same conference the Superbowl is meaningless. I'll take bowls any day.


2. Every year a top twenty comes out and every year the top twenty at the end of the season does not even resemble the early season prediction. College athletics is unpredictable and totally exciting.

3. Great teams can recruit great players and bad teams can recruit great players. In the NFL the weakest teams absord the talent of the best college players and ruin and destroy promising careers by allowing players to suffer in squallor. In college, there is an advantage to going to a great school because you will be playing on a big stage and have a chance to make the pros notice you. There is also an advantage to going to your smaller or less prestigious state school and being a hero to your entire state.


4. Who gives a shit what race the coach is? Who gives a shit what race a player is. Only racists.

5. Dan Fouts announcing a Pac-10 bowl game is like Stephen Hawking narrating a super-nova.

6. I love beautiful ladies as much as the next guy, but if you are going to football games to ogle cheerleaders, you might as well stop by "Hooters" on your way home you perve.
